Enkei RSF2 17x8(f) & 17x9(r) for Turbo II
 

i'm looking into buy wheels n tires in a wk or so. i've got my mind set on Enkei RSF2s in 17x8 w/ Nitto NT555 225/40ZR in front and 17x9 w/ Nitto NT555 255/40ZR in the back.. now my question is can i just mount them on my car when i get it? or do i need to get different offset or spacers? i have stock suspension at the moment... any info would be appreciated...

ps- does anyone know how much these wheels weigh?

ARD T2 (Richie) has a set of Enkei RP01 in that set up... I believe w/o tires. That set up looks very good.

you have to buy the right offset to make them work. probably around 30mm or so. but it has to be dead on to make the 255's fit in the back.

I can get you the RP01's for a killer deal in 17,8 and 17,9 for your FC or even an 18,9.5 in the rear if you're interested.

I actually have one set in stock right now and they are for $685.00 shipped. That includes lugnuts and huncentric rings. The wheels are almost gone so I suggest jumping on them.

If you're still interested in the other ones I can save you money on those as well.

I know you are stuck with the NT's because of the 225/40/17 that they offer, but I would run a different tire if it's feesable. I am currenly using the NT555's on my three piecers right now, but only for street and no performance driving at all. They are noisy, due to contact patch/tread design, and a very hard compound/not sticky at all.

Shit if you could fit a 235/40 up front then I would suggest the AVS Intermediates or the A520's. Those are in the same ballpark as the Nittos and twice the tire.

The desirable offset ranges for you are: Diameter is arbitrary, offset is dependent on the width of the wheel.

8" width front: +35 to +40, for ideal fitment w/ 225

9" width rear: +35 to +38, for ideal fitment with 255/40.

The RP01's are both +38's front and rear.

k, i've received words that enkei rsf2 only come in 7" width.. so there goes the whole plan... richie, i think i spoke to you couple of months back about those RP01s... i didnt have the $$$ then, but i do now, i've contacted couple of wheel places, n it seems like i cant find the rsf2 in the width i want... do they even exist? if they do, what kind of prices am i looking at? in worst case scenario, i'll go with the RP01

i'm more of a go then show, so i think i can settle on the RP01, n they are light, right? k, you got my ears on the 18x9.5 in the rear... do you offer the tires you recommend (A520) along with the wheels? mounted and balanced? i wanna have my wheels on before my classes begin next week, so i'm trying to have the wheels shipped before this weekend. so the $685 refers to 17x8 n 18x9.5, right? also, i think you told me i can have the RP01s powdercoated couple of months back, do you still do that? anyways, any info will be appreciated, i'll go ahead PM u also... thanks alot

if not NT555, what do you recommend? the car is daily driver, n does occasionally see rain.

rishie... can you post some pics of the enkei rp01s on a 2nd gen with 17by8s in front and 17by9s in back with 225s and 245s?

Looks like I'm selling my set, so I'll have to get one of the guys who bought a set post it. We ran a 255/40 in the back. It was perfect.

If you want inexpensive and good rain, get the Dunlop SP9000. Will last a long time as well. That's what I put on the lady's s/c miata for the winter. 225/40/16 all around. Perfect fit too.
