Enkei RP-F1 17X9.5 +38 up front on an FD?
I am considering an Enkei RP-F1 17X9.5 +38 in the SBC finish on my lowered FD (Eibach springs).
Using Jimlab's spreadsheet it appears the offset may be too small for the front; -0.26" for tire clearance outside. I realize the most recommened size for 17s up front is 17X9 with a +45, however that size does not have the SBC finish. Has anyone used th +38 on an FD? I assume the tires would rub on the outside. Would a slight fender roll allow them to fit? |
If you roll the fenders and maybe use a slightly more narrow tire it will work.

what size width are you thinking? 255 or less? |
A 245 or 255 should work just fine up front with a roll. If you get a little more aggressive with the roll, you can add more meat up front. ;)
