eibach springs, rear isnt lower after install?

has anyone else installed eibach springs and had the rear height not change? the front dropped a good 1" but the rear didnt really move at all. i can fit almost my whole hand between the tire and the fender. does anyone have another way to lower the car besides the spring? like how racing beat makes lowering cups for the front, does anyone have lowering cups for the rear?

It takes a little while for the springs to settle. Maybe try pushing down on the back of the car to see if it drops a little. Also, are you sure you put the front springs on the front and the back springs on the back? I think the front springs are a little taller than the back ones (at least on an FD). Hope this helps.

the coils are shaped different on an fc, the springs arent interchangable front to back, but thanks for the help. hopefully they will settle. or else im going to have to modify something. it looks like a 60's hot rod with all the rake it has now ;)

Did you move the car forward and backward to settle the suspension?

your original springs were probably pretty haggard and sagged to begin with, so maybe thats why you arent noticing anything...

use them with tokiko shocks

They took a few days to fully settle on my FD when I intalled them. I'm guessing it would be the same for an FC.

i noticed that pro-kits on FD's lower the front every bit of 1", but the rear not so much. I actually think you need to lower the rear more than the front for it to look right.

When i had them, i set my konis on the highest perch up front, and on the middle perch in the rear... and it looked more normal.

I know your car is an FC but, I just got done installing Eibachs on my FD and the rear hardly dropped. Close to 1/2'' i think. The front looks great though and dropped it exactly 1''. I was a little disappointed by the results of the back, but it will just leave me more space for bigger rims in the future.
