Eibach pro kit making car uneven?? Anyone else?
I just noticed the other day that my passenger front fender is about 1 inch higher than the drivers side.. What is crazy is I meet a guy at our last RX7 get together at a road course who had the same suppension set up and was amazed that my car sat even. His did not... SO sometime between October road race and sitting in the garage all winter my passenger front side now sits higher by about 1 inch???!!!!! Has anyone else had this problem or even heard of this? Maybe I need to try some H&R springs!! Thanks for any info..

It doesn't seem to be limited to people who have the Eibach springs. The new wheels for my car are coming in next week and I already have a set of Eibach's waiting to install. I'm wondering if maybe it comes from adding springs but not replacing the shocks? |
No I do not think so since I added Koni's at the same time,. But now I wonder if the bigger wheels could play a part.. ?? I really think its a spring or koni related problem. I guess I will have to take it all apart and inspect.. Anyone else?

I'll check mine w a measuring tape tomorrow morning. Do you think it's possible that the adjustable perch slipped down a notch-lowering the driverside? Might be worth checking. There isn't a lot of overlap holding the lock rings in place.

check out mazdatrix. if i remember correctly, you have to shim the struts to make it even. It has been awhile and I cant remember exactly but its a known problem with 1st gen.

As I said before, I think the uneven-ness is due to the "extra" weight of the steering column and the driver weight on the driver's side.

do you think the steering column out weighs the Turbo and the exhaust system?
