Eibach Pro-Kit. how are they?

considering these springs. how is the drop and performance?

about 1.5 inch. very good spring. ride nicely, not too low

They feel great on my car too. My suspension setup is in my sig.

I just recently switched from Eibach Pro kit springs to the M2 Coil Over conversion kit springs. The Eibach's are porgressive rate springs and are very comfortable for daily street driving. The M2's which are rebadged Ground control springs sets, that actually use linear (550/450 lb) rate Eibach springs, are much much stiffer than the pro kits. I really miss the soft ride of the pro kits. However, my car feels like it handles much better on the highway and at faster speeds.

I just hate the bone jarring ride over potholes with the M2's. The eibach's seemed to be better for the city(SF).

BTW, I have a used set of Eibach's for sale. 150. + shipping.

eibach doesnt make the sportline model for FD's right? So they only have the prokits?

Juster 06-18-03 03:48 AM

they are black, at least that's the color of my Eibach pro springs. I have yet to put them on, but will when I get some decent shocks. BTW Anyone selling used Koni yellows?????

If you want low... then Eibach is not the one... I have them now and they sure are comfortable. But as far as looks... most guys here have the H and R's or Racing beat springs. They make the car more aggresive looking.

best of luck with you choices.

H&R's are the way to go, they are a bitch to install though but maybe that's just with every spring!!!

What are the Eibach's like with 18's? Any rubbing? How about some pics?

EDIT: Those 18's would be with...

Front -> 225/35/ZR18
Rear -> 285/30/ZR18

RMEGEDDON 06-28-03 11:23 PM

Those pics sold me on the Eibachs. My car currently has Red springs and the front is just to low for me. I am guessing they are Suspension Specialties but I guess I won't know for sure until I remove them. The Racing Beat web site says .75f and 1.50 rear and Eibach is suppose to be a inch all around and H@R are 1.25 all around.

I got some rubbing on the front wheel liners after I switched to my 18" wheels 235/40/18 f. The springs were a bit too soft and the wheel/tire was a bit too tall. That's why I bought M2 coilovers.

http://images.cardomain.com/member_i...95_12_full.jpg

The spring rates are so much stiffer than the Eibach Pro kits that I can actually lower the ride height and still not have any rubbing. The ride is A LOT harsher over city streets...
