driver side hitting inside the wheel well

Just got my tires changed on my car and now the wheels hits inside the wheel well, when ever i go over a bump. I didnt have that problem before i got the tires changed. I did lower the car with racing beat springs and tokico shocks all around. The car does have negative camber, I was wondering if i was to get that straighten out and if it still would hit or not? the tire size is 235/40/18 on 18x9 rim. What options do i have far as the wheel hitting on top of the wheel well? No its not catching the fender lip just clear that out.

is it hitting the actual metal wheel well or are you hitting the plastic fender liner? if its just the liner, get rid of it, problem solved.

if its the metal, your options are
1) hammer in the parts of the wheel well where you have contact
2) raise the car
3) stiffer suspension
4) wheel/tire combo with less overall diameter
5) anything else you can think of to gain space or reduce travel

if you haven't had the car aligned, you need to. lowering car = fucked alignment. negative camber is normal. most cars have negative .5 to 1.5 degrees of negative camber stock.

The new tires are about 1/2" diameter taller than stock. This gets particularly critical with lowered cars. How low is the car? (usually measured to the fender lip) What tire size did you have before the new tires?

Hi, I had the same problem, mine use to scrub the metal just inside the edge of the guard. I ended up getting the front guards rolled. Probably the most satisifying thing I have done to the car. Very happy now :)
