I have and noticed that it's more forgiving at the limits.

Of course I'm not endorsing crazy driving in the wet, but any help during normal driving is always welcomed.

 

In any low grip situation the first thing you do is soften up the car. In the rain I run much softer shock settings and I crawl under the car to soften up the Tripoint front bar. If you had a "real" racecar and you knew it would be wet all day you'd most likely run softer springs as well.

Since the grip is low there is less weight transfer across the car and since there is less weight transfer you don't need a stiff car.

I have a '93 and I have never felt the need to disconnect the rear bar in any situation street or track.

 

The guys I know who run stiff-**** coilovers on '93s typically run without the rear sway bar. Batman, what suspension setup are you running?

IMO, that doesn't seem too bad. The guys I'm thinking about are running 500F and 400R (or higher). My spring rates are about the same as what you currently have, however without the sway bars. IIRC, you had an interesting alignment setup and that may be causing some of what you are seeing.

 

I really like my setup for daily beating (after all I have had more "behind the wheel" miles on a FD than most people).
