Do Supra rims fit on FD? Rishie?
 

Need to find out what the bolt patterns are for both. Thanks guys.

The FD rims are a 5-bolt pattern and I believe the Supra's are as well. But, WHY? Supra rims are fuggly ...

Because they're frikin' wide as hell in the rear. I was gonna do the same on my FC.

To tell you the truth, I don't know. For one you'll have to do some machining on the centerbore and two you'll need to get me the width and offset specs on the wheel.

Then I can answer the question.

hmmm. I'm gonna have to see if I can test fit one of my Supra guy's wheels. I recall something weird about the backpad but can't remember. Give me a week.

Rishie, you sell rims. Don't tell me you can't find one aftermarket rim as wide as the supra one. :D

Centerbore is smaller on the Supra - 60.1mm.;)

It's not the width that I'm concerned about. IT was something else. There was an interference with something on the backpad, aside from the centerbore I believe.

The supra rims can fit a 3rd gen, but not a 2nd. The back spacing is 7.5" on the MKIV rims, 17x9.5rr, 17x8fr. As to the bore, my 97 supra's rims center bore is the same as my fc center bore. I own an fc, and a 97tt Supra, so this is not based on heresay.
Disclaimer; just because my center bores are the same does not mean yours will be, double check the actual rims. A set of 93-96 supra rims is a 400.00 item on Supraforums, add 100-200 for chrome or polished if the rims are perfect.

I have seen at least two FDs with Supra wheels on the back. Both said that they had to increase the centerbore. The FD is 67.1mm and it sounds like the Supra is 60.1mm from dclin's post. I'm not sure if they were running any spacers/shims or not. 7.5" backspacing with 17" wheels might be a close fit or cause interference with the trailing link, based on reports of CCW 17x10 wheel fitments. 7.375" is said to clear the links, but perhaps 7.5" works with the M2 trailing links.

Wheel choices aren't always about fashion. Some inexpensive 17x9.5" wheels would be nice for wide track tires on a budget.

don't do it :) but anyways, yeah it fits, I did it for a couple of weeks b/c i sold my stock rims to some guy in florida, and used my friends wheels. you shouldn't have any problems.
