Check my brake "HAT" instalation for problems - rear FD Precision brake hat/rotor

Ok,
I have a set of 99 spec replacement rotors from Precision brakes,(they are not offered anymore). Pictures are below. I don't think I installed them correctly - i.e. orientation to the brake rotor.
Does anyone have a picture of how the hub mounts to the rotors? Inside/outside/etc? I'm about 100% sure they can't go on the other side - but maybe I have the rotor backwards? This seems to match up closest to where the brake caliper goes - but the heads of the screws are rubbing the rear splash guard.
Any ideas are appreciated!

To add to the first post - I put a stock rotor on my workbench and this orientation was the closest in overall height that I could find. But again, maybe I just missed something? There was ZERO instructions in the original box I got these and the new 99 calipers from.....

I think typically the hat sits "outside" of the rotor, so that'd be on top in the second picture. Maybe the hub mounting face is thicker on the new rotors, making it seem wrong when you lay it out on the bench?

Typically, yes. However, that makes the overall setup almost 1 inch taller than a stock rotor - i.e. it sets the rotor well back into the car,(and into the dust shield).
My first thought when I came upon this combo height was wow - it sure blocks the airflow to the rotor...
I'm hopefully looking for someone how has these installed or has seen them.

Posted in that one - I appreciate the link!

I may have the wrong hats - see this link for pictures of a MUCH thinner hat:
