Bushing advice.. Derlin or urethane?

I am replacing all of my suspension bushings shortly, and Id like to get some feedback on which type of bushings to go with. Ive been waiting on the SuperPro bushings groupbuy that Wanklin is running, but who knows when that will be done. I can get it on the Derlin bushing groupbuy from TireSmokin7, but Im a bit hesitant to install a solid bushing. My car is by no means a daily driver and Im willing to put up with noise and stiffness for better performance, but Ive been told the derlin bushings are a bit extreme. Could anyone give me some feedback that is running a derlin or stiffer aftermarket suspension package, to as what I can expect from each? Thanks alot.

I am using jimlab's diff and trailing arm bushings. The diff bushings work great, but transfer a lot of noise to the chassis. Hope and pray you never have a diff bearing start to go when you have a 10 hour ride home with these bushings, like I did :D

I have Delrin on my FC-- I think it is fine- my car is a pretty comfy ride, even with pretty high spring rates. I think the quality of your dampers and spring rate have a bigger effect.
caveat- I'm running 17s so there is more sidewall cushioning (275/35/17 x 335/35/17)

Stick to stock. Aftermarket stiffys are killer to the ear and unless you are PRO road racer, won't make a difference to you. Been there, back to stock.

i would stick to poly, delrin will put a lot of stress on both your car and you.

I have delrin bushes on my FD. The ride isent worse that before. No squeeks or anything. But my stock pillow balls was gone after a pretty short season of track driving (with the delrin bushes). They have 90.000km on them thought...

I use the stock diff bushings btw.

Testimonies and pics have been posted and reposted over and over in the group buy thread specifically for those who haven't had a chance to actually ride in or seen a car that has Delrin bushings. Those individuals who have been quoted have nothing to gain from their statements. This page has a plethora of quotes from folks who use the Lube Groove Delrin bushings in everything from full on track use only RX7s to daily drivers and even the owner of this forum.

If still interested in them let me know soon, the clock is ticking. Good luck with what ever you decide. ;)
