Broken Aragosta Coilover, suggestions?

I have a set of KnightSport/Aragosta coilovers.. they're pretty sweet.. well were anyway

somehow my Front Right coilover is broken, it snapped right at the base of the shaft where it enters the shock body... I dunno how or why it happend, but it did...

is there any hope to get it rebuilt/repaired etc... or am I SOL and have to get a whole new set of coilovers? (what a waste/shame)

any suggestions would be appreciated...

Thanks

These pics are before the shock broke correct? Can you elaborate on where exactly it broke maybe provide updated pics? Is oil leaking out? Is the shock body steel or aluminum? Depending on how it broke maybe it can be welded with out messing up the seals inside?

Looks like it could be welded if you could find a machine shop to do it true. Can you ship these out to be rebuilt? Aragosta, obviously, should have the ability to rectify the situation.

The alum shock is fine. Its the actual chrome plated shaft that goes into the shock body that's broken.

Ill pass by the shop later and take a pic.
I already opened and released the pressure incase I have to ship it.

if you can get pics of the damage I can ask if it can be repaired out here in Japan for you.

Tom u around?

thats a bad break. I would imagine that is not repairable and or not worth the money it would cost to repair. I will see if I can find another set or a set of two.
