Brake Calipers cleaning

Hi everyone.
I decided to do a 4 corners brake job and this trickled into doing a few more little things.
I wanted to paint the calipers, so I started with taking the driver rear one.

Here's my question:
How the hell do you clean these suckers? I have been going at it for 3 days and it's either that I am anal and I should just prime and paint, or the dirt is not coming off.

I used 2 different parts cleaners/degreasers. I have wire brushed and dremeled.
I soaked in soap to wash it off. I can't seem to be able to get to the bottom of it.

Does anyone have a "magic wand" solution to this? At the rate I'm going, I'll be cleaning at least for another half day, and this is the first of 4 I want to do...

Thank you for the input, I appreciate it. I have looked, however, I can't find anybody complaining about this issue and/or talking about how to resolve it.

Brake Cleaner a brass wire brush and a carbon brush on the dremel.

I don't think you will get everything off unless you beadblast them though so don't worry about the small stain look. Mine looked like they had microscopic stains of brake dust but they were as clean as they were going to get so I went ahead and painted them. Still fine till this day

I thought so... Extremely annoying, however...
Thank you. I'll keep on going tomorrow.
