Those are 375/275 springs on Koni Yellows. I forget the overall height of the springs but they are a bit on the short side, I have them nearly fully raised front and back to combat rubbing.

with koni yellows you have to buy the mounts also because there a tube style shock not integrated mounts, correct... and would they work well with the GC coilover setup? also a bit more bout my setup welded diff, racing beat sway bars, n/a for now and whatever used tires schwabies has for sheapest

You need to modify your front strut housings to accept the cartridge. Its not hard to do, just cut it down and drill a hole in the bottom.

oh thanks for clearing that one up

Nice pics super7

GC/Tokico setup here, 375/250 lb/in. springs, stock sway bars/bushings. Just wish the spring rates were more even, even with 5F/5R setting on the shocks and 35R/35F tire pressures it still pushes. I'll probably try 3F/5R next event.

Yeah, I'm looking to go to ~500/~400 Hypercoils or Swifts next year. The car is pretty neutral with the listed setup, but I'd like a little more stiffness and a bit more oversteer, especially after talking to the guys at the ProSolo as to what they were running.

edit: drop your front pressures, when I run my Azenis they are at like 28F 32R.

good lookin car, but what is with all the cops in the background?

KhanArtisT 08-08-08 10:05 AM

lol its a training center for sheriffs. They use the skidpad in the last picture too lol. The reason I had the tire pressures that high (which was a typo, it was 35R 30F) was to help with the understeer. I'll try lower at my next event though, I'll probably have hankook RS2s then since the Azenis's are down to the wear indicators.
