For shits and giggles...

Looks like they're gas charged and can be had with double-adjustable with remote reservoir. I wonder how they compares pricing wise with Moton and JRZ.

Back from the dead!

Just stumbled across this thread and all the discussion on where Aragosta is based. I just visited Kiyo at Aragosta in Japan, where I learned that he founded the company with a Dutch partner. Most of the development and tuning is done in Japan on both circuits and local roads. Some parts come from international suppliers, some are made in house but make no mistake, any Aragosta coilovers for rx7 are very much Japanese.

Little known fact - before he started Aragosta, Kiyo was employed by Mazdaspeed. He was heavily involved with chassis and suspension development and engineering as well as coordination with Nigel Stroud from 85-92. His main projects were the 757, 767, and 787.

^ like you said, some parts are sourced internationally, as AST manufacturers their bleed bolts.

Seems like not many people here are running them.
I hope to pick up a set of Type-S's with cups (can't justify the extra 2 grand for the Type-SS and I don't need anything quite that fancy) soon, and would love to hear anyone's input!
@purerx7 - any customer feedback on the Type S'?
