Anyone know where I can get a set of low offset 17in wheels?

Okay, I know this sounds retarded, but I have been searching different brands of wheels and have not really had much luck.

I am looking for a set of wheels 17 X 7 and or 17 X 8 with a +20 to +14 offset. 5 X 114.3 wheel pattern. I would prefer an inexpensive set of off the shelf wheels. Even stock wheels off of another vehicle would be fine for right now.

So anyone know a wheel company that makes these, or a car I can pull them off of?

Dunno about cheap, but ZROC was selling a set of 8" and 9" (?) in +22 in the Wheels For Sale section...

MB motorings from discount tire.... actually you can't get 17x7's with low offset... but you could get 17x8 +22, and/or 17x9 +27, or +17. they're like $135-$150 each. depending on what you get. and they're made by a company called A-tech in japan(even still badged as 'A-tech), so they're not just some cheap junk from discount.

I personally have the weapon's on my FC, in 17x9 +17 on all 4 corners, and I really like them. I've done a couple track days, and a bunch of drift events (with some off road excursions... lol), and they're doing great. they're pretty light weigh too.

Ford mustang cobra R wheels 17x9 +23 offset, i found a set for 500 with 245/45/17 tyres

or the Ford mustang GT 99-04 wheels 17x8 +30 offset and they look extremely flush, do a search on one of the main rx7 forums and you will see what i am talking abotu. other than the mustang wheels i dont konw what other decently offset wheels will look good and fit well on our cars. i am sure the 300zx wheels will fit but they are but ugly.

ifyou dont mind staggering your wheels you can fond g35 coupe or 350z wheels for extremely cheap (i have seen many sets for 275$ for wheels and tyres) they are 17x7.5+33 and 17x8+30.

Actually that is what I was afraid of. The biggest rims I can fit in the front of my car is a 7 incher. Maybe a 7.5 with some trick offsetting. I think +20 may even be too big of an offset. I can get 8's in the back with no real problem, as long as the offset is correct.

I was planning on ordering a custom set of rims, but wanted some wheels on the car to be able to roll it around while I am working on it.

I was thinking about some using some spare tire donuts, that may work, maybe off of an FC or a mustang?

Thanks for all the replies. If anyone comes across a wheel that will fit my car, post it up. :)

Old school baby!!!

The origin of all that is rotary... Well sort of. :D

It's a 1973 Mazda RX2.

I am stepping up to a set of 17's. They will be custom, either from Simmons, or Billetwheel. But I need a set to get me around, until, I am ready to order them.

Stock wheel pattern is 4X110, but I am swapping everything over to 5X114.3. Actually just pulled the rear end out today, to get an 8.8 built for it. I think 16's are a perfect size for the car, but I am not too sure on tire selection. 17's look great too, and tire selection is better.

For the record, I have seen 2's with 18's and even 19's. Now that is huge! especially, for a car that came with 13's stock, LOL.

Haha, I was contemplating calling you to see if I could get some custom offset work meisters.

That 7.5 up front is going to be tight. I will have to do some measurements when I get the new suspension in, and see if they will work.

Ya let me know. Worst case scenario, small 3-5mm spacer should work just fine. At this price you can't beat it.

OH AND THEY ARE BRAND NEW. LOLZ!!!!!
