Anybody have the Tokico Illumina shocks

on their FD? Thinking about going with those and some TEIN springs. What do you guys think?

Many people use the Tokicos. The Tein springs are a little higher spring rate than some other springs. Even at the softest Tokico setting, you'll probably still ride fairly rough (if that's what you are after).

I had the Tokico's on my FD with Racing Beat Springs. Set on 1 (softest), the ride was as good or better than my stock touring struts/springs. Set on 5 (hardest), you felt every pebble in the road, but they worked great the one time I had the car on a road course. I had the front on 1 and the rear on 2 for daily driving, and my wife couldn't even tell the difference in ride quality from stock.

Good luck,

David

It is a good set up for daily driving. But if you have 18's or planning on doing some road racing. You should invest your money on full coilover system.

I'm selling my TEIN HA with pillow ball mounts used only 3000 miles for only $900. I guarantee that it will handle better than your tokico/spring combo for a little bit more. PM me if interested

I'd spend my money on that!
