Anybody got experience with Bilstein B6 for the FD?

Hi :)
Does anyone got experience with the Bilstein B6 shocks? I will run them with some H&R lowering springs. Hopefully they will be a small upgrade from stock while maintaining drivability and everything else i love with the car.
Have anyone tried them and can compare them to the stock setup?

And how would they compare to say a set of Koni shocks? I guess that are the only two high quality shock options i have?

I think what you want is the Bilstein B8, this is for lowering springs as the shaft is a little shorter.

From what I have seen on shock dyno graphs and what people say are the Bilstein shocks B6 or B8 (same valving) ride pretty firm. Most would say too firm. They have a digressive plot but the initial valving in the low speed range is pretty aggressive. That is from what I have gathered looking at reviews from all sorts of cars.

Thanks! Yeah that is pretty much the same as my initial research suggested, and why i posted here. They dont offer B8 for the FD, at least i cant find it anywhere in their catalogue, i think even the B6 is discontinued, but still available from suppliers.

Thanks for the input! :)

No experience with the FD but I work at a suspension shop that deals primarily with re-valving bilsteins. Koni's twin tube design is far behind the 46mm Bilstein monotube. Also the Konis tend to be valved with a huge rebound bias that can cause the car to come down onto the bump stops easily. This can cause rough ride and loss of traction on anything but a glass surface.

They are a good option. I'm using the HDs and had them revalved by Fat Cat.
