? about project kics spacers
 

I had a question about the project kics wheel spacers. I plan on getting the 15mm spacers for my car and was just curious to how they mount. Does anyone have pics of them mounted. I know they go over your exsisting studs but does the stock studs stick out past the spacer and cause conflict with the rim that is being mounted? Please help.

A detialed discription of how they mount would be greatly appreciated. Also as you can see in the pics there are extra bolts and stuff. What are they for?

I'm not 100% possitive but 90% sure that you just put them on before you mount your wheels on. So to mount them all you have to do is take off your lug nuts and take your wheel off, slide the spacer on and reverse the process. At least thats how the spacers my friend has on his car go on but his didn't have those bolts and stuff. As for the extra bolts, i have no clue unless it's for putting 2 of them on at a time.

How much is that kit, and where did you find it?

i'm guessing u have to cut ur stock wheel studs to make it flush.:scratch:

You can get the kit on ebay or just look up project kics wheel spacers. They run for about 120-140 for a pair of 15mm. To me I would think you would have to cut the stock studs also but I am not sure.

yeah, you'll have to grind your stock studs so that they're flush. My spacers are actually so thick that the studs don't affect the wheel at all. ^_^

Why are you buying spacers for an FD? There are almost no wheels made that have too HIGH of an offset for an FD.

We have those 15mm Project KICS spacers in stock to use FD wheels on FC and we're basically in San Jose. Come by and check it out. i'll show you how to install them. For anything under 25mm the OE stud will protrude thru the spacer, therefore the wheel you are using must have a cavity in it like most volks, so that the stud can stick into that.

Come by the office and i'll gladly show you the spacers also. Super easy to install. We have them in stock for that purpose. WE do 15mm front and 20mm rear. To net a 35mm and 25mm offset on FC.

Actually these spacers are going on my mr2. I am putting the fd wheels on. Thats why I need the spacers and it seemed that the project kics wheels spacers are a little bit more popular for the RX7.
