About to lower my FD with lowerings springs with 19's, Not sure if it will work.
 

I'm running R1 stock shocks with a rim that is 19" by 8.5 with 40 offset.
Tire is 235/35/19
and lowering spring are:

"Suspension Specialties springs have been designed primarily for street use. They drop the Front approximately .8" and approximately 1.4" in the rear. The spring rate is also higher than stock for a much more stable and predictable feel in the corners. The advantage of these springs is that they can significantly improve the handling characteristics without giving a harsh ride." From www.rx7.com

I know the rear will be fine, but the front could use a little drop, but i'm scared of destroying my fenders. And i don't know a place around here that would roll my fenders. I won't do it my self. The paint will crack. anyways with this offset do you think i would be ok dropping the front. Or should i just drop the rear and leave the front alone. thanks

I don't know of any place that will roll the fenders, and i won't do it,i can tell that the paint will crack.

Will this work, or should i only lower the rear. thanks

I predict you will hit the fender liners on bad bumps. You will also have to watch hitting bumps on sharp turns -- driveways, bad dips in the road. And just lowering the rear will make the car unsafe -- stiffer springs in the rear alone = oversteer.

Since springs are cheap, go for it. If it doesn't work out, then go the coil-over route or switch to more practical wheels.

I was really of thinking of just lowering the back since the front is low enough, but i guess it's all or nothing now. i will post results when i get it installed. my car is currently getting the 99 front end put on this week. :)
