93 rx7 front upper A arms issue
 

Hey guys. Finished installing new bushings. I know this will be a dumb question but these arms have a left and a right mark(letter)
Is it determined which arm goes on which side by viewing from the front of the car or from the back? I know they differ.
Main reason why I am asking is because it's very difficult to put into place. As if they became narrower.

couple things..... orientation is ALWAYS from the drivers/pilots perspective. The situation you're in now is common post install of those super pro bushings as they are pretty thick. You will want to rubber mallet them into place. It's possible the bushings were installed a little wonky and the arm itself is in fact bent ever so slightly but its unlikely. With what you have pictured there, it looks like the standard fitment with those bushings. Go ahead and tap them into place and you'll be good.

You will also know front upper L or R based on the ABS sensor mount points. They are to face forward

Thanks. I was also told that the factory mounts vary from car to car. That probably why the spacing is off on my car.
I'll try the Mallot and see what happens

Poly bushings often require some modification as they aren't built to OEM specs. Fairly common to have to trim them down because they are too fat. The OEM specs for the control arms and bracket spacing are highly unlikely to vary.

You can try putting them in the freezer too. Typically a good lube and a few whacks works.
