9.5 or 10 inch rims with plus 43 offet or more

why are rims that are 9.5 or 10 inch basically non existant in a high offet like 43mm or more?

i hate the look when rims stick out in back. rolling the fender to force the fit in my opinion juts doesnt look right.

Could anyone recommend a nice looking rim that comes in 9.5 or 10 inche with an offset of 43mm or more?

KaiFD3S 12-15-07 07:18 PM

my car is FF...lol... but if you look at the rims they are 18 9.5 +45 all around, they dont stick out as I dont like that look.

Enkei RPF1's very light weight...

My BBS RG-R's are 18x10", +42. No rolling necessary.

i think the wheel and tire should be taken into consideration together to see what fits and what doesn't.
why get a 10 inch wheel if you will only run, for example, a 265 width tire?

9.5 should be fine for 275s, the best way is to see what the tire manufacturer suggests for that particular size tire.

There a lot of multi-piece wheels that you can order with custom offsets to accommodate your setup. PM me if you need a list.

G's 3rd Gen 12-19-07 07:30 PM

at italia rivas 17x8 17x9.5 +43 offset (no rolling)..

matty 12-19-07 07:50 PM

tks g i will check em out.

ARD T2 12-20-07 12:35 AM

I think the issue is weight or budget. If multipiece wheels were an option i'm sure you'd find some.

matty,

Keep in mind in terms of

FRONT SPACING

9.5" +38 = 10.0" +44

Therefore you must accomodate for this variation.

If you want a 9.5" +43 then look for a 10" +50.

all the "cheap" ebay rims are less than +43....anything good will be offered higher.

4thtry 12-20-07 03:06 PM

I am selling a set of wheels right now with that exact offset
rears are 17x10 et 43.

Fikses...yum

matty 12-21-07 07:04 PM

hey rishie do u sell work Emotion CR-Kai? i dont seem them listed on ur website

ARD T2 12-21-07 07:17 PM

I do not. Heavy heavy ass wheel. Cast, just doesn't fit our criteria. i.e. Enkei Racing Series wheels of Japan.

Neoturi, you're running that both front and rear? I'm assuming just in the rear.

DigDug 12-30-07 06:54 PM

I'm running 17x9.5 +42 with 275/40 all around. Had to roll the front fenders, but the rears fit without any modification. I'm running a TP bar up front, and at full lock the inner sidewall touches the front edge of the swaybar arm. Any more offset would reduce max steering angle, and any less would contact the fender. Close fit but it works - helps to run at least -1 deg camber.
