4x110 wheels where to find them?

Much of what I've searched for leads to dead links or wheels no longer in production, etc.. I'm looking for a 14 or 15" wheel in the infamous 4x110 pattern to go on my black 85 FB that I just picked up. I love classic designs, but cant really find anything! I'm an FC guy normally so wheels have never been a big issue... I'd prefer a lighter wheel in bronze or classic "waffle"...

twinkletoes 04-15-07 06:15 PM

www.Packracingproducts.com has superlite wheels... not that light but they look like panasports. My bud got wheels from them and they are good. 15" should be perfect with the right offset.

novarx7 04-15-07 06:22 PM

I like the sport max design better, lol...of course its not in the pattern we have! If I didnt have an FC project right now I wouldnt mind spending the extra cash to do a brake swap to the 4x114.3 bolt pattern...

You can get some adapters. I think in the past month, theres been a few things and sites for adapters.

novarx7 04-15-07 06:37 PM

Lol, i have no desire to put that much in wheels/tires on the FB this go around..

Zyrano 04-15-07 08:45 PM

check out goodwinracing.com or more expensive you'd have panasports, or you can also get steel wheels at diamondracing

JLB motorsports has konig rewinds that are 4x110 in a 15x7 with 20mm offset. Look in the parts for sell section, there are pics and all there i think its around 500 for a set

Rotaryhaven 04-15-07 09:01 PM

If you wouldn't mind 13 inch tires. I have 7 Hayashi mesh type wheels.......

sand121 04-15-07 09:05 PM

I have a set of really nice epsilons on ebay right now

novarx7 04-15-07 09:10 PM

sand121 - i saw those and I do like them... just seeing if I can find some options first... and maybe a little less cash since those wheels cost more than the entire car, lol...

i have some 14" Mesh wheels from the limited edition Rx7's, in amazing shape. they look dope when cleaned up or powder-coated on these car's, the 80's mesh with shiney lip is what suites these cars best, IMO. i'd let em go for $250

novarx7 04-15-07 09:44 PM

how wide are those 14s?

Paradox 04-15-07 10:18 PM

6" i believe. don't quote me on that, though.

i will measure them later on.

tallbozo 04-15-07 10:26 PM

15x7 with a 40mm offset.

There's a guy that is selling them here on the forum and he'll sell them $500 shipped.
Here's his email: info@jlbmotorsports.com

Those are currently the winners... i just really wanted to see what my options were like...

I have to get the car fired up first, lol... if its runs right away, i'll be more inclined to get the wheels sooner... just got tires for my damned tribute, need some for the jeep next month before the beach and i need the wheels/tires for my FC, lol... the fb is hopefully going to be my daily driver though, so its gotta look sharp right?

Paradox 04-15-07 10:41 PM

damn right.

NanaimoRx-7 04-15-07 11:31 PM

$250 eh? Any tires on those?...I think I'll be coming down to Vic this weekend, might like to have a look at them.

Wide enough for a 195 or 205 tire. If I remember right you cant go much wider than a 205 without modifying things. I may be wrong though, but even so, a 195 or 205 is more than adequate for our cars.

A guy i know has those in gold/silver lip config, looks awesome.

You could also get some diamond racing wheels they make all types of bolt circles.

ProjectR13B 04-16-07 06:53 AM

takumi projects might sell some. i havnt been on their website in a while, but they use to have alot of odd sized wheels.

They are 20mm offset, not 40. I've recently purchased and installed a set from JLB and I really like them. Not as much of a deep dish look as the panas but for the look/value ratio you can't beat it! :icon_tup:

tallbozo 04-16-07 02:59 PM

My bad on the quote. Its good to know there are some good looking wheels for that damn 4x110 pattern
