300ZX Z32 brakes on an FC

Does anybody know what's involved in getting to 300zx brakes on the front of the FC? I know some Japanese tuners have done this but I'm not too sure how extensive it is to modify them to fit.

Seems like a very worthwhile brake upgrade for the price if not too much modification/fabrication is required.

I did a quick search on ebay, and on pics, they look identtical to the FC\FD calipers.

I have several buddies with Z32 brakes on their 240s (non ABS) and their brakes are far superior to the FC brakes in my opinion. Size wise I havent really compared them side by side but brake feel is night and day between the 2 for me. My brakes arent stock either, check the sig for upgrades.

WHY?

Have you tried upgrade brake pads first???

Yea I have stainless braided lines, project mu pads, and powerslot rotors. I just want "better braking feel" according to your reply in the 2nd gen tech.

Get the mazda 929 master cylinder if u want better feel, calipers do not improve feel

I know K2RD used to sell a 929 master cylinder conversion kit but they arent around anymore. Was it a direct bolt on or did things have to be modified to work? I remember the upgrade being a few hundred dollars from k2rd.

Whats wrong with the OEM T2 calipers? Good pads/lines/rotors/fluid on these, and I can't really ask for anything else.

Your brakes should be performing just fine, but a 929 MC should improve the "feel".
