I'm double checking I have my information right before I order wheels. I'm running Apex'i Coilovers and Racing Beat Front and rear bars, rolling my fenders on my FD. I am getting 18x9 front with +41 and 18x10 with +42. Tires are going to be 255/35/18 front and 285/30/18 rear. Please let me know if my offsets and tire sizes are correct with my setup. Even with rolled fenders, I would go with higher offsets both front and rear. Your offsets should be ok with rolled fenders, but I like sticking closer to the stock offset.

 

would you suggest +45 front and +50 rear? I'm curious how deep the lips will be on these if anyone has experience?

I was hoping Rynberg would reply, he seems to know the most about wheels/tires. Thanks a lot for all your help!

These are my Volk SF Winnings

with 18x9 +41 18x10 +42 I have rolled fenders and car lowered with JIC coilovers.

With the car at 24.5 inch front and 25 back (measured from ground to wheel arch) was TOOO low. The front tires would rub on the fender liner.

I raised it to 25 inch from 26 inch back and it seems fine and clears everything with normal street driving. However, I haven't put the car thru hard cornering and load to see if the fronts will catch...so I'm still wary. But I think the spring rates in the JIC will keep that from happening.

Those offsets would be much better! The lips will be a little less deep with those higher offsets but should still be nice on that wheel.

Are the Meister's custom offsets? If not, please list what offsets are available in those sizes.

 

You do NOT want to do that....unless you want the rear end coming out on you on high speed corners. Lower the rear to be the same height as the front, or at most, a 1/4-inch higher.

Trust me, I learned this the hard way entering the esses at Buttonwillow running CCW.

 

I know!!! Even though its easy to adjust the ride height on the coilovers...its still somewhat of a guess. I am planning to get it right around the 25...
