18x11 Racing Harts ...295's on the rear?
 

I'm stuck between the Blitz and Racing Hart.

I know I would have to flare out the rear like a Porsche if I lower it but i'm not sure about offset or inside rubbing problems.

I'm trying to match either a Porsche 911 (18x8.5 front & 18x11 rear)or Corvette's (17's front & 18's rear)setup.

Has anyone tried anything like this?
Would either of these setups work good?

11s will be a difficult fit without fender flares. Also remember that the Porsche has really wide rear tires because a large amount of that car's weight is in the back. The RX7 has 50/50 weight distribution and thus works best with the same (or very similar) size tires front and rear.

I am not sure if coil-overs are a part of making these numbers possible, but CCW wheels have 7.375" of back spacing for the rear for 17" wheels and 7.5" for 18" wheels (larger diameter clears the trailing link better). I have the 18"s, and I read about the 17"s. Both my car and the car that the 17"s were on had 2.5"-spring coil-overs, but I am not totally sure that is a factor for wheel sizing in the rear.

Please note that "11 inch" wheels will be over 12" wide. The nominal size is the width at the tire bead, not the whole rim width. Keep this in mind when calculating offset from backspacing -- backspacing is measured to the real rim width, rather than the nominal width.

I don't recommend 11" wheels for the FD. 9.5", 10" or even 10.5" would be a better fit. 285/30-18 tires on 18x10" wheels are a good fit if you are looking for wide tires. Some people have even been able to fit 305s.

CCW's light & exact fit? What about 17" front & 18" rear?
 

I don't want spacers nor a generic one size fits all (like Momo's).
What about the Corvette setup? ...17's in front & 18's in the rear?

I know Fikse are a real good fit. Don't know about the CCW's.

Depends on what you want to do. If you want to run staggered, but want to maintain handling, then your 17 fr/ 18 rr will help negate the understeer usually dialed in with wider rear tire contact patches (if you went 17 fr/17 rr or 18 fr/ 18 rr). If you maintain stock overall tire diameters fr/rr, but increase the rear wheel diameter, you're effectively increasing the rear spring rates (by decreasing the rear tires' sidewall heights), and decreasing the effect of the dialed-in understeer.
