18" Volk SE37A's or Fikse FM/10s??

Hey guys whats up. Im looking for some 18's!! The VOlk SE37A's and the Fikse FM/10's both caught my eye =). I have a VR FD with H&R 1.25" springs. I want a nice lip (like the RH C2's, but everyone has those) but i dont know the correct offsets. Im hoping some guys coud help me out here. What size should i be running up front and in the rear? I saw on a site they were selling SE37A's in 18' 8.5F and 9.5R. What sort of offsets should i be using for that setup? I need all the help i can get fellas! Thanks.

PS: Rishie I PMed you.

I'd go with the Volks. They're lighter AND less expensive.

Unhappy I can't choose either

not exactly those two but still confused

I think the Fikse Mach V look way better then the FM10, and I prefer the Volk LE37T's over the SE's.

LE37A's vs. SE37A's

Im kinda leaning towards the LE37A's now
i have sort of ruled out the FM/10s, so now it's between the SE37A's and the LE37A's. Do you have either of these wheels in 18's Rishie? Thanks a lot!

How about the BBS LMs? The sorta stray away from the typical BBS "Euro" look and look a lot like the FM-10s, IMO. I will be deciding between those 2 sets when I finally save up about 3 geez

As nice as Volk's look, Fikse's are just on another level of pimp. You see 'em in person and you gotta have a set!

The Fikses will be made hubcentric for YOUR FD, as the Volks come with hubcentric centering rings. This is just the hint of the level of quality that you're buying with Fikse wheels. In my mind there's no comparison between Volk and Fikse. I'm not knocking the Volk wheels at all, but if you're serious about performance, style, AND quality--Fikse is the winner, HANDS DOWN!

Definately K29R. Give Rishie a call. He's got great prices on kinesis wheels. i'm still waiting on a set of K29r from him. can't wait to see them in person.

if you like Fikse fm/10s, check out their new profil 10 wheel...very similar to the fm/10 but supposedly lighter and stronger.

Damn! I like those Intro Forged wheels. I like th look of some of them better than my FM/10's, at least from pictures.

Rishie, why are the Intro's less expensive?

Intro has just hit the market. They do make a phenomenal wheel as they produce the wheels for the Shelby something. I can't remember the model of the vehicle but I know it's like $250,000.00 If they make wheels for that car they must be good.

Since they've hit the retail market now their pricing has been very competitive. The other reason is that they are all two piece wheels. In a sense this is better because it's easier to have spoke clearance with big brake kits as he has more to work with on the wheel pad as opposed to trying to mess with increments depedent on rim halves that are available.

Thanks, Rishie

LEt me know which ones you like Ryan. I'd be interested just to price some out. We got a lot of Audi guys running the intros.

Honestly, I like every one of their wheels. I guess favorites would be:

RS-5
FS-6
Swift

Here's list prices on their wheels:

17,8 - $425.00
17,10 - $445.00

18,8 - $590.00
18,9 - $610.00
18,10 - $630.00

As you can see their list prices are much lower than their 3 pc. competitors. Obviously you guys get a discount over this. A pretty significant one at that.

thanks, Rishie

I'd have to agree with "JZA80" eater, hehe. I don't like the convergence of spokes and their roundness on the SE37A's. However beauty is in the eye of the beholder so to each their own.
