17x10 on the back? not sure if its ok help!!!
 

hi, ive been looking for some time now and i came across the wheels that i think im goona go with, they're 5zigen fn01r-c im looking for 17'' for my fc. im going to go 17x8 on the front and i was thinking of going with 17x10 on the back, i searched on fc3spro.com and it says that on the back with a +25 offset that i what 5zigen offers, it may depend on tire size/width and it says that it might not fit on stock rear fenders. is there a way that i can know what tire i have to run on the back so these wheels can fit without rolling the rear fenders???.

265 wide tires are tight.
275 wire tires will most likely not fit.

255 is a safe width to fit in the rears.

Stuffing a 255 on a 10.0" wide wheel is a stretch.

hey reted thanks, i found some pics of what im looking for and damn they look sick but i don't know what tires are, this pics is 17x10 with a +12 offset, what you think is better +12 or +25.

I've done the exact setup you want to do and can tell you that it's not worth it.

imho, the 255 on the 10 doesn't even look right. It is stretched but somewhat of a rounded stretch depending on the tire you choose. The ES100 you see above is a good one to use as the sidewalls are stiff and it's a more square tire than say a Toyo typically.

Those 10" wheels are HEAVY, btw. I just don't see the point honestly.

I understand you want the concave face so that's gonna require this wheel for you. The gent above has 20mm fenders up front so it's hard to tell what size tire he's running, if in fact that is an 8".

Do you want to pull the rear fenders as he did? Do you know what size tires he's running. If you know that I can interpolate his offsets most likely.

Also, i can get you a pretty good deal on those rims. We have a big sale until dec 15.

If those pics are of a 10.0", +12, I'm suprised at the low fender roll in the rears.
You sure it isn't a 10.0", +25?

I'd go with the +25 for a better fit.

Ya I agree the +25 for sure with like a 245/40/17 or something would look better because it will shorten the sidewall to give a nice triangled flat edge to the tire. Hope you have a good mounter with a strong Blaster. hehe.

the guy is running 17x10 +12 on the rear and 17x9 +15 on the front. the tires hes running on the front are yoko ES100 235/45/17 and on the rear 255/40/17.
i also don't want to roll my rear fenders that's why im asking if there is a way that i can fit these 10'' wheels on the back, if i have to roll the fenders with the +12 offset then im not going with that offset but if i don't have to roll the fenders with the +25 offset then that's the offset im going. i know these wheels are a little heavy but i like the way they look, and ive been looking for some good wheels for a pretty long time for my white fc, maybe they will slow me down a little but thats ok i usually don't race my car but i got enough power to move them if i want to burn rubber.

im also running 17x8'' +35 on the front so there's no need to roll or put wider fenders on the front.

Well it sounds like you answered your own question.

You will need to roll them for sure as you see in the picture.

The +25 will only help a half an inch an i suggest with totally stock fenders you do the +35. I'm still concerned at that with making this fit. And you have very very tight clearances on the inside.

If you go to a skinnier tire you might get it to work. Thing is stretch and all this aggressive stance stuff is extremely relative to camber, wheel, tire, bleh. So complicated.

For the front the +35 is what you should do depending on your suspension setup.

I was thinking the same thing... I'd expect the 17x10 +12 to stick out a lot more.... maybe its due to the rediculous amount of - camber he's running.... ?

Here is my 17 x 9.5 +38mm w/ 255-40 and then the other picture is of a 275-40. The 275 is to tall I think. You be the judge, but the extra traction was a night and day difference. WOW!

The front is a 17 x 8.5 +40 w/ 3mm spacer, running a 225-45.... Not worth it, get an 8". Its tight, but the Tein RE's fir better than the Flex's forsure.
