Tunning Knowledge for SAFCII on a 88 TII
 

Anyone have anytips and info of how to tune SAFCII on a Turbo II?

anyone kno how to to adjust the knock setting, because i dont want it to the knock sensor failing or goes off at the wrong timing causing my engine to blow.

I think kompressorlogic pretty well knows the ins and out of the SAFCs. May want to ask him or do a search.

he dont really kno about the knock counter on the SAFCII. so bump anyone kno?

The knock value is just a hit count. It is not adjustable.
You may see one or two random false ticks, but if you see it run up much, you need to retard spark and/or add fuel.

You can test it with a small hammer.
Tap the center iron plate, just below the oil filler tube.
The count should go up one with each tap.
