Tell me what you know about SAFC
How do you hook it up? Is it hard?
Is it easy to tune, I mean, do you have preset maps? Thanks! |
ADDING TO His question, good for s4 na rx7?
|
I swear to god this is covered somewhere. SEARCH.
It's not hard to hook up at all. You just have to tap a handful of wires into the PCM harness. An SAFC will do you absolutely no good without a wideband o2 sensor. Every car is different, maps will be different between different cars. Your tune will be slightly off when the humidity or temperature changes. Street tuning is very easy, you can have it back to optimal in 3 or 4 pulls. Good for an N/A '7? The only GOOD thing for an N/A car is going to be a new engine...but, needless to say, I have an SAFC and a wideband sensor sitting in a box behind me, ready to go in when I'm not lazy. I have one in my Saturn...works awesome there. Not sure how well it works or how much is possible to gain on an N/A '7, but I'm going to try anyways. |
