I have been checking out S-AFC's... I have been reading about one in particular. The Apexi S-AFCII. Has anyone had any experience with this S-AFC?

they are good for small to almost medium power gains coming from MODS.

Well, I can't get Rtek for my ECU... and I asked for advice and was told to go with a S-AFC. With the S-AFC though, should I upgrade my injectors?

the SAFC2 fits perfectly in an S5 (and S4 assumingly) ashtray compartment.

my friend wired mine (for my nitrous project) through the console under the carpet and set it in the ashtray compartment. He took the cover of the Ashtray and I could cover the SAFC2 up when parked.

When covered, it looked stock. The cover fit back on the comparment perfectly.

Car is an 87 GXL, the engine I am putting in it is a S4 TII. It's actually a JDM engine. The ECU is N340... Digital tuning accepts N332 and N333 ECU's.

I figure I need to make my fuel system somewhat better if I am going get a full Racing Beat exhaust and eventually upgrade my turbo. To run more PSI basically.

if your getting just bolt-ons meaning full exhaust, 720cc injectors, fuel pump, intake then the safc is right for you. with all the bolt-ons and a fine tune it should get you on the 230-240whp maybe a little more.

I have a question regarding this statement.^^

you say "if you're getting just bolt-ons..." so at what point would you justify going to the next step (which i assume would be standalone)? I plan on getting a safc and wideband, and for now i just have those boltons, but if i go a little further later on (like maybe a larger turbo) would the safc not be enough?

might be but the standalone is cheaper then say if the motor pops.
good insurance and it'll run better...
sorry i cant say where the "safety" zone is for a SAFC.
