Rtek 1.7 - SAFC-II signal?

Hi folk's

Planning to install SAFC-II together with Rtek 1.7 chip (S4). I have three short questions:

1. Is TPS or Pressure signal the best?

2. If it is pressure, it is 2B connector-pin down at the ECU that will be best, right?

3. If TPS method is the best, wouldn't it be better to build an extra pot. (slide resistor) parallell with the stock one and read this instead?

PS. Correct me if I am wrong. FCD is a software thing that kicks in ,when preassure is too high. This is only software in the ECU (removed in Rtek version). Mixing around with different locations where to place the wire for the signal into the SAFC-II unit (in pressure reading mode) should not matter. The signal from the "boost-sensor" on the right inner bonnet is an ordinary 0-5V analog signal, AD converted in the ECU, where I assume near 5V the software goes in FCD mode. Therefore it should be the same if I connect it down by the ECU. The way out to the sensor is max. 2m, souldn't be any voltage drop there.
Right or Wrong?

Thank you for a really good site.

Yes - you want to use the pressure signal (at the ECU) for the S-AFC THR input.
As you know, in 3rd or higher gears, boost can go way up even at part throttle.
The Rtek should do a great job of mapping mid & high boost.
The S-AFC will be most useful for high vacuum crusing lean out when the closed loop is not active.
It's also useful for monitoring, recording & playback of sensor inputs.
And - it looks way cool..
