Original 5 knob S-AFC wiring.

Ok, I had my AFC wired up awhile back but rebuilt the engine and have to rewire this thing and cant figure it out. It has 6 wires, white, blue, yellow, green, black, and red. In the manual on the apexi site they do not mention the blue wire but they say it has a brown wire. Do I just ignore the blue wire and forget about the second ground? Or maybe the blue wire is the second ground on the old school one? If I hook it up and ignore the blue and forget about the brown the car will start but die within a few seconds no matter what fuel settings I use on it. Also the tach doesnt work that well when its hooked up. Thanks guys.
edit: this is on an s4 TII if it matters. |
I have one, but mine has a brown wire and no blue wire. I will soon be using this on my 88 vert TII. Sorry I can't help.

Maybe its because he has a safc 1? My safc 2 diagram shows a grey wire as well.
The wires that you need for flap sensor are; red (power) green (rpm) purple (knocking doesnt come in safc1 i believe) gray (throttle) brown (ground) black (ground) yellow (airflow/pressure signal output) white (airflow/pressure signal input) |
He doesnt have the safc1. Its the AFC before that. I have seen them a couple times. I have no idea what the wiring diagram is though.

I saw the manual for the original AFC on apexi's website a while back. If you email them they must still have it some where. I can't find the manual anywhere now. I looked on my computer because I thought I saved it at one point in time. But i guess not.
