Check my SAFCII settings - 88 TII

I bought this 88 TII a couple months ago, and dont really know who or how it was tuned.

Mods: RTek 1.7 w/720 secondaries, SAFC II, Walboro 255 fp, S5 turbo, Greddy bov, RB turbo-back exhaust, hot-air K&N intake, ported wastegate, TB mod, no emissions, and no boost controller; the wastegate is connected straight to the turbo inlet. Runs about 9-10 psi in 1st through 3rd, creeps up to about about 12 in 4th gear.

I dont really know a lot about using the SAFC, but here is what its set for now:
Hi throttle:
5200rpm 3%
4200 9%
3800 3%
3600 1%
2800 5%
2200 2%
1600 2%
1000 2%
Lo throttle:
0% for everything
Throttle:
Lo 0%
Hi 38%
Dec Air:
Ne1 10%
Ne2 10%
Knock:
35 1400rpm
38 3400rpm

I suppose the Lo throttle settings are used when the throttle is under 38% and the hi when above 38%? What are the knock settings for? Also, how does the Dec Air settings work? Ive noticed when letting off the throttle, the rpms will sometimes drop below idle, almost stalling out- can i adjust the dec air to fix it?

anybody know any good SAFC info sites?

The low map is used for closed throttle.
The High map is used for 38% & above.
The S-AFC interpolates between the two.

It's common to wire the THR signal from the pressure sensor.
The test it, turn the key on, but don't crank it.
Then pump the throttle & monitor the THR reading.
If it stays near 40%, your hi/lo map is selected by boost pressure. (That's my preference anyway)

It appears the high map has been carefully set.
You might push all the %'s up by maybe 5-8 for winter cold air, then set them back in the spring.
I'd be tempted to lean the low map for some for fuel economy.

Deceleration air is a hot wire MAF issue. It does not apply to our flap types.
The idle speed drop is not an S-AFC issue at all (unless the lo map low rev correction is way lean.)

The BAC or it's connector may need cleaning, and/or the fixed idle settings may be too low for the BAC to handle.

I have pdf's of the manuals at the link in my sig. Download & print what you need.

You have a sweet setup there - enjoy.

yeah that makes sense, it always scares me when Im get full boost when accelerating at only partial throttle, seems like the hi throttle settings should be used even thought the throttle isnt open past your hi setting

thanks for the info
