thanks
Thank you for keeping in close contact with my concerns. I will let you know when I get my package.
|
got the turbo yesterday as promised. I'm a happy camper! now it's time to get it polished.
thanks again sean. |
Hopefully that fitting works for you. I threw that in there for being understanding.
|
Hey sean, thanks for the surprise. I will put it to use.

Is anyone using the new oil drain line with the oil pump installed? I just got the new drain line and tried to install it. The threaded end of the fitting that bolts to the engine ends up touching the wires coming out of the connector for the oil pump. As a result, I can't screw the drain line onto the fitting. The oil pump connector ends up preventing it from going on. Any suggestions from anyone?

There is a lot that goes into making X number but, figure mid 400whp range. Somewhere in the 430 range is very likely with excellent response.
-S- before i went to the track with my car I took a tour on the local dynapack, just to be safe conserning my AF values. made 386rwhp, and 450nm @ 1.2bar. this with pretty safe going on the ingition. stock engine, twin power, gt3578, 850/1600cc, custom ic.. I'm a happy camper, will sell this engine due to a 20b comming in.. just need a turbo kit for that one too... anything for me laying around? :) |
Just got my gt3574 in the mail yesterday. It looks good. Can't wait to get her on the car; hopefully sometime this weekend provided the auto stores open up so I can get some fittings for the oil/coolant holes.

Ok question.
I got the GT3574 turbo and went about sourcing out the fittings for the oil inlet. Exactly what size is it? I bought the -4 size oil fitting that fits the GT35r series turbos. Apparently this turbo requires something different? The -4an is too large for the oil inlet hole. So what size it is? |
It is a 1/8th npt.
|
I thought I was going crazy b/c I called the shop and whomever was on the phone assured me it was a -4an. Thanks Zero R!
