You guys never voted on where you wanted to have a meeting. I haven't noticed a clear leader in the recommendations.

As I stated before I will not be at this meeting so you guys are in the drivers seat. Someone needs to step up and take the reigns on this one.

PS - The club website notes that the next event will be posted on 10/20/07. See here http://www.houstonrx7club.com/

This is what you guys have come up with, but there seems to be no clear leader in the recommendations.

- Track 21
- HOU Freebirds / Galveston Drive
- Double Dave's Pizza / Galveston Drive
- CL Freebirds / Galveston Drive
- Paintball
- Kart place in Dickinson, TX
- Picnic BBQ at local park (recommendation from local club forum www.houstonrx7club.com)

You guys be careful with a Galveston cruise.

Of the 4 drives we've done down 45 South as a club many of us have received souvenirs.

well I called the carting place in Dickinson and it is $4.00 for 5min & $6.00 for the super and 2 seaters. Also another idea would be we can meet up under the Kemah bridge (lots of parking and shade) and head down to Galveston on Hwy 146 (good stretch of road 65mph) Kemah also has the new roller coaster and I think it's only like $5.00

How about HOOTERS instead of Freebirds, it is just off of 59 close to Freebirds.

there is a Hooters in seabrook off 146 & Nasa 1

So what about the cruise to Galveston? I know a couple people (with 1st gens) who are wanting to do the cruise. What about you north side guys?

What is with this 146 stuff? I drive 146 everyday and it hella sucks *****. Lots of traffic and lots of cops. The Hooters on 146 and Nasa has a teeny tiny (itty bitty) parking lot.

I'm all for Burritos and it still has my vote but I say Chuck gets to call it (although he already changed his mind like a woman).

Anyhoo... if Chuck wants Hooters - and the one on 59 isn't good enough... do the one on I-45 south. We could fit every Rx-7 in Texas in the surrounding parking lots. Its also a straight shot to Galveston to pick up our souvenirs.

Call it Chuck!!! You're the honorary vice-dictator of the Houston RX-Club. Its what you say and there will be no more discussion.

Speaking of which, did you guys finally agree on something or not, I'd like to post the details up on the other forums. Looks like there still is no clear consensus.

Do you guys view me as a dictator type figure?

I'm officially voting for Hooters at Nasa rd 1 and 45 (huge parking lot for doriiiftoooo action), then a leisurely cruise down for a photo shoot on the seawall.
