RX-Club of Houston Monthly Meet - January 8th
 

Haven't seen a thread made for the meet yet... Where will this one be? Isn't it time for Barry's pizza? Or does Keith have a new location planned for us?

I had checked both beforehand, since I had not seen a thread here. But, I guess I missed the Christmas Eve post - me bad.

I think it's still a good idea to post the info here as well, so:

"The weather for tomorrow's meeting is looking pretty poor. Some forecasts are estimating 2-3 inches of rain and 90% change of thunderstorms tomorrow night.

not making this one, not worried about rain but snow since I'm in Colorado freezing my Puerto Rican ass. :-(

**UPDATE**

Yesterday, I asked for input from over a dozen members who regularly attend our monthly meetings and despite the gloomy weather forecast the choice was made (by the majority) to continue with the meeting rain or shine.

I think I am going to sit this one out. Too many roads can flood between my house and the meet.

There is 10% rain chance at MOST predicted between now and 9pm according to the weather channel, for 77027.

Does NOT mean that no roads have flooded, but it is likely that most routes to the meet will be clear.

Personally, I rarely get to make it to these meets (college at LSU), and I truly enjoy them. If I get a chance to go to one, I don't miss it. I'll be rolling in with Chuck W... but in my own car this time. :D
