hallett Track day 7/17???
Damnit I wish Hallett wasn't so far away...
its not that far
Maybe not in a car, but in a 28' motorhome and 32' trailer it is.
the trailer we take to events is 53ft. long plus the cab. it cant be that bad
Looks like they are going to have to postpone.
I would rather run in Sept or later. Heat starts to become a serious problem when it's 95+ degrees on the track. |
Sept 3rd is available.

I damn near melted my car at Hallet last time and it was only ~90...
I'd loev to run again.. but I'll wait until sept or so.... I don't wnat to destroy the car in teh heat. (or me!) |
How much does it cost to run on the track? I might be down for this if I can get time off w/ enough money :)
think its going to cost $200-250
probably won't cost that much... I've never run a track day at hallet that cost more than half of that..
Cost will be dependant upon how many drivers sign up. Their track rental fees are posted on their site.. http://www.hallettracing.net/ Monday & Friday $2,000.00 Tues-Thursday $1,000.00 Saturday & Sunday $2,500.00 Price includes 5 cars. Additional cars are $100. The 5 cars, just means 5 cars max on track at any given moment (for insurance reasons) Same setup on a weekend would be like $150/ea. We ran on a weekday last year, 20 cars (4 groups of 5) cost was $60/each! ($1000 for track rental + $200 for safety crew I think) |
yeah thats what they have on their website, but I think only 8 people are signing up
