If it matters the back lot at Bikinis wasn't packed at all when I was there 8-9PM on Sat.

It matters because you are the "official" point person for the DFW rotary meets since the old crew stopped doing it. Hollywood's pretty much all that's left of that drinkin' crowd. Eric is supposed to be back but he doesn't appear to be posting much these days.

So, 1st Saturday or 2nd?

No_love_for_pistons 08-23-11 11:52 AM

Let's do 2nd Saturday! I've got a boost leak I'm having trouble tracking down.

BTW folks, please send me your ZIP codes. I've only heard from 4 people so far. I've gone through the last several months of meet threads and have made a list of the most active posters. In most cases you've already supplied the city in your location, but I need ZIP code. ZIP codes allow me to create a better analysis of where the most "central" meeting spot is in DFW. Not that we have to meet there every month, but it would be interesting to know our spatial distribution.

REblue93FD 08-23-11 05:34 PM

I'm in for the second Sat. in Sept.

10thaniv 08-24-11 06:38 PM

EJayCe996 08-24-11 07:41 PM

Majority rules, 2nd Sat :)

duffman692002 08-24-11 07:59 PM

2nd Saturday works for me too. Thread is unstuck now, time for the new Sept thread, Son of Ware.

Everybody please remember to PM No_love_for_pistons with your zip code so he can finish his field research.

CHA-CHING!

The temptation is to go with stainless steel lines. Don't do that. :P I ran new stainless steel fuel lines on the triumph and it is a nightmare to work with. It's harder and stronger than regular steel, so it doesn't flare, just pushes back out of the flare tool when you tighten it down.

With it also being more expensive, I'd just go with regular steel.

Also, 75028 for the next month or so, then 76226. I don't count though, as a former Rx7, current rotary fanboy.

Frankenrex 09-01-11 11:13 PM

I think he's talking about running braided lines all the way. I could be wrong. It happens fairly often. :)

EJayCe996 09-02-11 12:22 PM

Indeed, braided lines and I already have 20 feet of it ready to run the distance

mrb63083 09-02-11 03:01 PM

Which location are we meeting at?

10thaniv 09-02-11 05:00 PM

Since most post are from members in Tarrant Co. I think we should meet at the Dr Pepper Starcenter in Euless. Well Duffmans pretty far away. I'll give him a couple bucks for gas.

He and I both live in Allen. So, don't forget about me, too. :)

Las colinas area still a good area.. THere is a Buffallo wild Wings across the HWY from Cheddars. that way if there is a UFC or Boxing event we can go inside to watch the fight..

aragami78 09-03-11 06:55 PM
