Anyone planning on rebuilding a engine soon??
Its a long shot but I think is worth asking. After buying a blown engine I decided to try to rebuild it, instead of buying another, And I was wondering If anyone In the dfw area is planning on doing a rebuid themselfs anytime soon and need a helping hand lol? Anyway I just odered a mazdatrix dvd and feel that with a bit more knowledge I may feel more confident
Thanks |
I will help...I really want to learn how to do this...I live near the TMS but would still make the trip...which engine?

The mazdatrix dvd is a great how to dvd. I used it for my first motor build with success.

i have one of my s4 13bs apart and both rotors and housings are waisted along with the eccentric shaft :( it's a disaster. just got my other s4 ready to pull out this weekend. the turbo on it is waisted but the housings/rotors should be ok as the seals are still there. rebuild and new gt35 w/fuel pump and autothority chipped ecu.... or.... s5 swap.... not sure yet.

I don't usually mind the company when I'm working in the shop at the house. I've got four engines built and am about to do a 5th this coming week at some point. It's a bridgeported S4 turbo motor. If neither of you guys are idiots and don't mind coming out to Midlothian, then I'd welcome the company and I can show ya'll some things.
