Anybody else here ride? Show your bike!

Well, almost 3 months ago my wife and I did the MSF course. We both got our licenses. I immediatley purchased an 06 Suzuki GS500F, a week later I purchased my wife a new 2010 yamaha FZ6R. I have been riding to work everday. I joined the motohouston forum. Anybody else here ride? Also a member?

Here are my bikes:

This is how I bought it. It was lightly dropped, previous owner decided to ditch the fairings. He was going to convert it to a naked bike, but never finished.

I fixed some little things, and got some used fairings.

The left side fairing is rough, the right side is in great shape.

I plan on painting them black this weekend.

The wifes bike:

I love the GS for commuting. Almsot perfect bike for that. Great on gas, simple, reliable, and enough power to be fun. I love it. The FZ is all those things,(a lot more power) just a little less comfy, the separate seat is limiting in seating position. I do aspire to own an FZ8 or FZ1.

Anyway, show me your bike(s)!

Have a 1988 Honda Hurricane CBR1000F in pristine condish, have had it since new.
Also, I have 2004 Suzuki Matt Mladin Limited Edition GSX-R1000, bought used with less than a 1K miles.
Love them both, ride them both only on Spring or Fall. :icon_tup:

To OP: your wife has a better bike then you?!?!?!? LOL

Check this club out in Houston, they are cool at least here in the Dallas area.

Nice bikes! Yeah, my wife always gets the good stuff. I spoil her like that. I get to ride it anytime I want though...so it's like an excuse to have 2 bikes. lol

I started with a 82 Suzuki GS550, but after 2 years of that I bought my dream bike.

05 Suzuki Hayabusa

Damn...a Busa. I didn't figure you for a Hyabusa owner....lol That's cool. I actually just sold my GS500. Gonna ride the wife's FZ6R till I get a little better financially. Probably get an FZ6 or FZ1.

Rx7_Nut13B 07-11-11 12:55 PM

Well i have always been a speed person, but my problem is being extremly tall, and I looked goofy on the GS550.

So the busa is a much bigger bike and I fit it really well. Also hitting the speed cut is nice too

I love busa's! hell of a jump from the 82 though!

Those pics don't do your bike justice. However its just a garage ornament at this point and time.
