TX [DFW] Looking for spare FD carpet

Hi all,

I'm in the process of refurbishing my interior. I've purchased an aftermarket molded carpet that is one piece and needs to be cut to shape. I figured the easiest thing to do would be to borrow someone else's OEM FD carpet and use it as an overlay template for cutting mine.

If anyone has a carpet they would consider letting me borrow for a weekend, I'm offering $50 and will handle pickup/return. It may be a long shot but I figure it can't hurt!

I'm just wondering how that turned out. I've been debating doing the rockauto carpet and cutting it to match mine I would be pulling out and wondered how big of a pain it would be.

Skeese - I just received a carpet, I'll let you know!

I could have probably finished trimming it without an overlay but I think this will be way more precise.
