Only 9-10rwhp difference. Not enough to matter at all.

The difference in SAE and STD is based off the temp conditions in the shop. Its not always the same. Rule of thumb is typically a 4% difference. That means you only made 580 RWHP J/K

I have posted in STD as well. I'll change to SAE.

Hats off to both car owners and the tuner.

This is out of place...but while we are at it: Sorry Dee...your numbers should be at 27.88 psi, not 23psi. You had boost bleed down as Peter pointed out in volumes.

Not trying to take away from anyone or muddy the thread. I just do not like the lack of precision.

Since in your in front of the dyno computer put the run conditions on the graph.

I want to add that Im not knocking the HP numbers or Rays tuning. Ray is a great tuner and the numbers are good. We use SAE here, so thats why I was interested in comparing both standards.

You guys are so lucky to have that nice dense air up there.
I was on the dyno Saturday with an EVO and it was 105deg in the dyno room with 90% humidity.

This has been the worst conditions in a long time for making power.
I think our days are numbered. The o-zone layer is much more damaged than they want us to believe. It's the space shuttle's fault also. Is the space shuttle exempted from emission laws?

I wanna see that ****** fitted with cat converters

would love to know some stats on what the **** punches out every launch, it would be horrendous. I'd say more hot air and nasty emissions than a small nation in a year !

OFF TOPIC:
Who cares what Peter pointed out? My engine builder (Ray Wilson of PFSupercars) said that he believed that my car would still do 604rwhp on a solid 23psi pull. Considering the fact that he has built many engines and tuned many cars and different setups, I would say that he knows very much what he's talking about. My rwtq will obviously not be the same. But who cares. 604rwhp is 604rwhp.

Either way, you can stop this hatred towards me now. I changed my description under my avatar to just not include what PSI.

Back on TOPIC:

Nice numbers again fd3virgin. Will you be attending the Fall Brawl? If so, I'll more than likely see you there.

Who the hell cares, did the car put down 604whp? Yes. So what is the point of arguing it. It is what it is, 604whp FD.

It will be dynoed again shortly at PFS. I don't trust many other shops than PFS.

Thanks Sean. That is what I have been trying to say all along.

fd3virgin: I'm sorry that your thread somehow turned into what my car has acheived. I'll say nothing more. Congrats again on your numbers and build. I'm glad Ray is making alot of very happy customers.

Congratulations on the numbers!

Call me silly but I still like to know what it took to get there, boost, octane, and all the other data points.

Sean, being a fabricator I would have thought you would support facts and precision over ambiguity and distortion. Maybe that's the hair's difference between an engineer and a "doer."

No hate, Dee. I'm a simple man and I supported a simple point that Peter made that I too initially criticized.

Facts are facts. Since you're selling the car I am sure you would want to communicate the facts to the potential seller.

I won't post any more about it...you guys can have the last word. I made my simple point. Again, congrats to everyone on the numbers they made. No hate.

Tony

Tony, my remark wasn't directed at you. It was simply made because It seems every thread with any decent power is brought down by people who usually haven't even accomplished the same level, or by others who want it to be known just how good "they" are. I agree with Peters assessment, it is common sense, but I find it irrelevant to the owner at the light, on the street or strip. 604whp is 604whp regardless. I also think it is on the verg of ignorance to jump into someone's thread and shoot holes in the accomplishment. As much as I disagree with some other vendors on here, how often do you ever see me comment in their threads, or their customers threads. This is not directed at you personally either.
As far as being a doer, I'd like to think I've done plenty, there are very few on this board that can say they have pulled 400+hp per liter out of a car, I can

Gee, now the turbo bridgeport is a neat thing to do. I've only been yelling about this for 4 years now, not to mention Crispeed having been doing some of the same for much longer as well as John Duarte. While I don't mean any disrespect towards anyone, a part of me has got to just roll my eyes at this seemingly "new revelation".

Glad you guys are finally seeing the light and good luck with continued success.
