Will the PFC overide the AVCR Boost setting?

I can't control my boost and everything is hooked properly what could be wrong? Its a single t04s kit with an avcr boost controller.
Thanks :)

Fritz,
You check the vacume line to the wastegate? Make sure its connected. Also make sure your wastegate isn't stuck shut.

The PFC has no control over the AVC-R. If you have the AVC-R hooked up properly (it's easy to get wrong) then the stock solenoids for boost are disconnected. That's how the PFC controls boost, through the stock solenoids or through the optional add-on boost controller.

What's important is that the PFC boost settings are set WAY high so that it won't cut fuel when it sees .2kg/cm2 more boost than what it's set at. Do that for both settings. This should have nothing to do with your current no boost control issue. Just an FYI.

Double check all the lines again and make sure you are using the right ports on the Apexi boost solenoid because you switch them for use with a single turbo on the FD. It's raining cats and dogs now otherwise I'd go out and look at my car quickly to tell you. You can also download the PDF document instructions from the Apexi web site.

hi fritz,
please be more specific as to not being able to control boost and you will likely get the right answer.

Ernie,
I will check to be sure the hose is still attached, but I bet the waste gate is stuck. I'm so busy parting cars I don't have the time to mess with my own :) How's the new project coming and if you need anything let me know :)
Fritz

Howard,
I am getting 17lbs of constant boost and the avcr reads the boost and is acting normal just can't control it. Thats about all the info I have so when I know more I will send you a pm.
Thanks,
Fritz

Thanks for the info :) and I will check again to be sure everything is hooked up properly.
