Question When should my secondary injectors come on??

I have 550cc primary injectors. At what ideal boost pressure should I set my staged secondaries to come on? Right now it is set at bar 16 on the Haltech (around 5-6 psi??). Bar 12 is 1 psi. Now it is smooth, albeit rich... I tried a program where they come on at 1 psi, and in second and third (at least that's where I was paying attention) if I was accelerating slowly right at 1 psi I would get a bad hesitation. Also when I had that program in I opened it up once and it made a bad noise... So I put the old program back. Anyways...

Setting the secondaries to come on at 5 to 6 psi sounds a little high to me. You might be maxing out those primaries. I would say around 1 to 2 psi is a good place to stage the secondaries. Out of curiosity what is your fuel pressure set at?

The fuel pressure is set at 55 psi with the vacuum hose removed, which is around 42-45 psi at idle. Thats just how it was when I got it, is that OK?

When setting your fuel pressure you want the vac line off. Set it at that 42-45 with the line off, when you plug the line back in you will see that it drops and when you rev it it will rise.

So where is the balance between having a lower fuel pressure and having the injector pulsewidth higher VS. a higher fuel pressure and the injector pulsewidths lower? I would think that you would want to set the fuel pressure to be able to keep the injectors running between x% and y%. Thoughts?
