What timming settings could help spool?

I'm currently running a .98 ar , fully divided, To4S turbo, on a big street port 13B TII motor. Using a Haltech E6X.
My question is that when I go to wide open throttle, the turbo will spool at 2000rpm, and start to boost 2-3 psi, it then raises to 7-8 psi by about 3200-4500, and then once it hits 5000rpm full boost of 14 psi kicks in really hard and fast. I was wondering if this is a improper timming map was causing this? OR is it just the large porting work creating the huge power leap?
I start at 30 degrees at 0psi, and tapper it down to 3 degrees by 14psi. 3 degree split on trailing. If I run more or less timming can I get it to reach full boost sooner, at least by 4000rpm? ARF are in the 10.8-11.00 range of right now. Any pro advise would be great!

Retarding timing raises EGT's. Heat is what is important in spinning up that turbine. What is EGTs at 2-3 psi? Run more split....I don't think the E6 is that accurate for split in boost. Once getting into boost and after torque peak then advance the timing. It's a balance....also known as fine tuning.

This on a first gen? Gray?

You can run a lot more than 3 deg lead timing at 14psi. I'd ad 8-10 deg to that. I also run more split in boost areas. I think I'm at 8 deg split at 15psi.

30degrees at 0 psi is too much, try running 18-22.
