What bov to run with my new T78 turbo,if any?advice needed
Just installed a Greddy t78 turbo kit for my jdm 92 FD.I'm looking for some advice on what bov to run with this system as I am clueless on which one to go for or if I should even run one???I installed the kit, along with it street ported, uprated fuel pump,1600cc injectors, fuel pressure regulator, greddy front mounted intercooler and a straight through exhaust system so it is heavily modified just to give you the run down.Could you guys give me some ideas on what you's are running and is the only way of fitment to weld to the intercooler pipe??pics if possible of your setups.thanks for your help

Mods don't matter only thing that matters is psi. Tial, Greddy, Synapse they all make good ones it doesn't make a difference which one you choose, but you need one to run, in your case it will need to be welded into the intercooler piping between the throttle body and after the intercooler.

would you recommend the blitz super sound bov.I'll be running about 13psi-1.0/1.1 bar
|
^recommend a new turbo for that range

tial 50 mm is nice, good design. i like it
|
I second the Tial. You can save some money by not buying the new Q model also. The newer model bleeds off 60% more air volume. The originals are plenty at your low boost level.

I have a T78 Greddy and am running a Greddy Type R Bov.

at only 13psi any BOV will do, as long as you don't get a knockoff

Tial 50mm. Beautiful, high quality, and does what it is supposed to. The Blitz is pointless unless you want noise. The Greddy type R is ok as well.
|
I actually have a used Greddy Type R for sale, PM me for details. Worked great on my 400hp FC setup. Doesnt have a flange though, you will need one.
|
^^
I got the flange for sale but it will probably be cheaper to find one locally |

Whats the synapse bov like???anyone recommend???The tial has most peoples vote and its looking likely i'll go for that but I heard the synapse is good. All thats over here is hks ssqvs on all turbo cars.Everywhere you go you just hear boostin then whistle dump and thats not what i'm after.

Go on ebay or any performance website and you'll find the Tial BOV. They're great! I've seen people use the knock off ssqv's and either crack one of the pistons or wear the seal inside so it leaks. Just do it once and get the Tial...
