What is the Best internal wastegated turbo

I am curious as to what is the best/biggest turbo that still can utilize an internal wastegate. I am mostly curious because I came across a gt32 with internal wastegate. I figure a gt32 is probably still too small to make any real power.

Any idea?

I honestly don't know what the largest turbo that has one is but the bigger question is how much power are you looking to get? If you are trying to stay sub 275 hp or so, I don't see any reason why a good internal wastegate can't work with a little massaging. However above a certain point you really need an external. If you want lots of power but also want simplicity, you're just going to have to pick one of the two as having each isn't going to be easy.

NONE.

Get a Real turbo with an external wastegate.
No internal gate i have seen can properly control boost with a rotary. I have seen many work flawlessly on a piston engine but on a rotary NO.

I have seen many stubborn internet know it alls try and do otherwise and always end up going external gate.

You could make your own parallel twin GT30 internal wastgate :)

Well the reason I ask is I would like about 320-350 whp but I am less into drag racing and more into autox. I am a few months away from purchasing a turbo. I was thinking that a gt32 may even spool quicker then my "stage 1" hybrid considering its more efficent.

i guess at the goals I want I may be better off with external.

Get a GT35R with a small hotside.

Why would you do that? Gt35/40 with small hotside? They are already small enough to begin with.

GT35/40 1.06 rear T3. Anyone who recommends the 0.82, hasnt been in a well setup 1.06 .

For autocross instant spool is preferred. For anything else 1.06 would be fine.

For autocross, either the .82 A/R 35R or the 1.06 T4 divided housing.
