Water injection, how much water?

I have read a few post about water injection and I am seriously looking into a aquamist kit. I have heard people recomend 300cc but at what boost levels? Is this something that needs to be added gradually or do you guys just unleash the water in at a certain psi? Like at 17 psi, no water, then 20 psi, 300cc's?
I talked to one of the dealers and he said the basic kit will run 300cc's with the correct jet, but he thought that a rotary might need more than that at higher boost levels.
Who has experimented with this and what were your results/ideas.
Thanks,
Cliff

From one of RICE's previous posts

I run 300ml/min on 14.2psi

@ 20psi I changed the flow rate (base) and run 400ml/min instead of the 360ml/min.

Basically aim for a flow of about 12% of your fuel flow (I found to be ideal) for a balance of fluid consumption v's benifit gained.

I have run up to 20psi with 15deg advance on pump gas making around 590BHP...and been VERY reliable

I ran 50/50 for two reasons, I gets damn cold in My part of the country and also my fuel capacity was stretched so I got a bit of extra fuel from the meth. Normally I run more water than meth aroun 80% h20 20%meth as water cools more and reduces detonation more.

Thanks,
I did a search but could not find that thread. So 12% is the rule...

give or take a wiggle. the efficiency of the turbo also plays a role. To what extent i'm not perfectaly sure. so the harder the turbo is pushed beyond it's thermal efficiency the more water you should use. I've tried to find info to back this up some more, but can't seem to do so.

do a search......but it's injecting a fine mist of water into your intake.
