Vacume line questions for single turbo

Ok, I was just curious if there was anywhere the would show me what vacume lines in the rats nest I should still have hooked up if I am running a single turbo. I still have quite a bunch under there and would like to do some cleaning up.

if you have removed all of your emissions hoopla and are single turbo. . . you should have "0" solenoids under there.

This should be in the single turbo section of this forum.

You'll only need a vacuum line for:

Map sensor (UIM)
Wastegate/Boost controller (UIM)
Boost gauge (UIM)
Oil injectors (vented to atmosphere)
Fuel Pressure regulator (LIM)

I think that's it... ??

there isnt a "t78" conversion. . . if you are pulling all of your emissions out and going single turbo. you will have three hoses under the UIM. . . . i think. . . im not around my car right now. . . but all you need is vaccum lines running from the oil squirters to a total vaccum source and from the fpr to a manifold nipple. . . there is one on the LIM that points "aft". . . its the only one on there like that. in the middle runners area and very low. . . use that for the FPR. for pcv, you need nothing. . . cap that off. the only thing pcv is used for is the excess pressure that comes from a rotating assembly churning in the crankcase. . . ours might as well be considered a "dry sump". . . . though not literally. the only thing churning in there is the oil pump chain and oil entering in there. . . not enough to do a damn thing. besides. . . whats it gonna seize up? . . . uh. . . . . . nothing. so, cap it off or if your a puss, :D put a filter on that port in the filler neck (2).

what boost controller are you using?

the reason to run the fpr straight to the manifold is to get a more true and reliable reading. . . that solenoid could fail.

why dont you take some pics, post them, and well tell you what needs to be done.

the ones that matter, man. . . if your not using any of the solenoids then you already know which ones to throw away. . . all you need is the map sensor, fpr, oil injector, and boost control lines. . . well and a boost gauge line. . . but thats really it, unless you have something else that most of us dont.

Yay, time to tear it apart!

How about the vacuum lines for a HKS racing wastegate? I just picked one up, and the stupid thing did'nt even come with a diagram or anything!

Anyways, there are two vacuum line ports coming off of the wastegate. One on the top most part, and one on the bottom section of the aluminum piece. My question is where should they be routed to, and where should I install my boost controler.

Heres the pic.

So I cap off everything that has a red dot? Does it make a difference that I dont have a standalone?
