V-Band HELP!!!

I got a turbo that is v-band and I have NO idea how to hook it up. With the turbo I got an adapter piece that seems to fit in the hot side of the turbo where the downpipe should attach, but I don't know how this would attatch to the downpipe.

Do I need to weld this adapter onto the hot side of the turbo?

How do I hook the turbo to the downpipe? What flange needs to go onto the downpipe? Do I purchase this: http://www.atpturbo.com/Merchant2/me...egory_Code=FLG
If i need to purchase this v-band flanges and clamp, mentionned above, how does the flange attatch to this adapter piece I talked about before?

Any help would be appreciated!!!
I'll post a pic of the adapter piece in a sec.

You have two options, you can weld one of those flanges directly to the outlet of your turbine housing or purchase a fitting like in the pic where the flange is welded to a 4 hole or 5 hole plate that bolts to the back of the turbo.

That atp link you have posted does not include a vband flange for the back of your turbine housing, thats for connections between exhaust parts( ie midpipe to dp etc)

You could however just weld the flange you have into the back of your turbine housing, then weld one of those flanges in your atp link, and use a clamp to bolt on the dp.

goto the fabrication section here to see:

To weld the vband to the turbine housing, you will need to use a filler rod high in nickle content.
I had 7 different engineering firms try to attach mine, all failing, before one would listen and use the high nickle filler. They were then able to weld it on without any problems.

You the need to purchase the vband clamp and matching flange for the downpipe.
